The Performing Rights Society collects royalties on behalf of the composers of music.

Whilst the film soundtrack is covered by the film licence, if you intend on playing incidental music before the screening, you require a licence from the PRS.

It is possible that the venue you are using is already covered (which is often the case with community venues and may be included in the venue hire charge).
